The judges have awarded Manny Pacquiao a majority decision. Glenn Trowbridge (116-112) and Dave Moretti (115-113) scored it for Pacquiao. Robert Hoyle scored it 114-114.

This fight is a controversial decision that will surely gain a lot of criticism. Yes, it is a fact now that Manny Pacquiao won it by majority decision, but the much awaited knockout and all out war was not displayed. Which I think for the reason, “both fighters are true professional”, being careful and making sure none of their punches are wasted. That may be I think, the winning factor because Marquez thrown a lot of punches but not sufficient to outscore the much precise punches thrown by Pacquiao. I’m not a professional boxing analyst but surely I watched the fight closely and being articulate blow by blow”.  In the end, though this is now a closed book, I think it deserves to have one more fight. Me and the people I think are not satisfied with the spectacle displayed.

KO victory over WBC flyweight champion Chatchai Sasakul in 1998 was a milestone in Philippine Boxing, echoing a lot of promises due to the potential of Manny Pacquiao he and most analyst says he will be a premier boxer. I myself witnessing his “Blow By Blow” career this fight abroad mark his essence in the boxing world. This KO made me fall on my sit as his left hook went straight solid to Sasakul’s jaw knocking him flat on the ring and his attempt to stand sealed Manny’s triumphant victory as he falls again, now in need of immediate medical attention.

This is a fight of two destroyers Manny Pacquiao as the “Mexican Destroyer” while Fahsan Por Thawatchai as the “Filipino Assassin”. Nothing much about this fight but there are only two things I can say. First, to seal the lips of the “Filipino Assassin” and secondly, to display the new and improve arsenal of Manny Pacquio into tests, such to mention the “power”. Looking closely on to this video after his left uppercut Fahsang’s two feet went off the canvas as if “David Blaine” levitates. Just kidding, seriously I like this fight because it shows the great power of Manny Pacquiao.

As his HBO debut despite only a two weeks notice he is confident to win. With the help of his new trainer Freddie Roach the urge and determination blossomed to a significant victory, making this fight a favorite because it opened doors and earned him recognition in world boxing. During the fight, Ledwaba ended the first round with a bloody nose, floored on the second round and pounded as the fight progressed, with a straight left on the start of the sixth round puts the skilled South African down again. Decided and wants to make a mark, Manny Pacquiao sealed the fight through a bombardment of punches sending down again Lehlohonolo Ledwaba and so referee Joe Cortez stopped the fight. This fight is flagship of Manny Pacquiao’s HBO carreer.

A non title fight dub as the "Dream Match" is in deed, yes a dream match of the champions yet a turning point for Oscar De la Hoya's career a few months after the fight announced his retirement. The fight may not be a knockout finale but still a talk about fight as Manny Pacquiao showed no mercy pounding the Golden Boy five punch combinations landing most of it to the body and head shots all through out the 8 round fight which made trainer Nacho Beristain throw the towel to end the fight.

All three bouts of Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales I like most is this 2nd fight. In this fight both fighters display their abilities, skills, techniques, and more, it’s like an all out war giving and throwing everything for pride and glory. Yet, this of all three, I like this the most, because of the way Manny Pacquiao knocked out Erik Morales sending him to the canvas swirling as he was hit by a sledgehammer, after the referee’s count “The Mexican Warrior” stands and fights again but this time kneeled on his right knee after the bombardment of punches from “Pacman” The fight ends on the 10th round via TKO.

In this fight of Manny Pacquiao it displays his “maturity and compassion”, two important attitude most failed boxers posses. Maturity because his opponent Emmanuel Lucero is like a wild bull swinging his way with brute force and comes from any direction. Thus, Manny Pacquiao waited for the right moment setting up two punch combination, sending Emmanuel Lucero to the ropes hanging by moment. On the other hand Manny Pacquiao obviously his care with a concerned look for Lucero after landing his power punches. Even after the fight he went to Lucero’s corner to pay respect with a smile. :)

In this fight against Miguel Angel Cotto proves truly that Manny Pacquiao is the real “pound for pound king” as this was final journey for 8th division title. All throughout the fight he dominated and conquered the buff and bigger opponent. With great respect to Miguel Cotto he is standing still until the 12th round yet, sealed the glorious victory when the referee stops the fight saving Cotto to maximum destruction.

After a non title fight with Oscar De la Hoya next on his hit list is the furious “The Hitman Ricky Hatton” This fight is believed to be one to the greatest fights of Manny Pacquiao manifesting new techniques empowered to him by his close friend and coach Freddie Roach, not only techniques but also new firepower, thus concluding the complete packaging of a premier boxer and dub as the pound for pound king. The significance of the fight is like a war cry to Mayweather Jr. not to mentioned his father as the trainer for Ricky Hatton. During the fight Hatton was sent down twice on the first round and finally a speedy strong vicious left hand that dropped Hatton for good. Referee Kenny Bayless took one look at Hatton and declared the fight over at 2:59 of the second round.

Pacquiao and Marquez previously met twice. In their first fight, on May 8, 2004 at the MGM Grand, ended in a draw; Pacquiao was believed to have won that match. They fought again on March 15, 2008 at the Mandalay Bay where Pacquiao won via a split decision; it was believed that Marquez won that fight. And so, who will bring home the glory, watch out for the expected KO fight between two rivals.
